So for everyone who actually want to download these models:
Wacraft Underground:…

Hi I'm Daerone.
I have for years watched people use WoW models in Warcraft 3 on the site Warcraft Underground, and always been fascinated by it.
After 2 year of watching other people modify and change models, I began to learn how I could become a modeler and 2D artist like others.
I started out by making icons for Warcraft 3. These icons where picture I would have taken of the models where I afterwards Photoshop the picture so that they may fit into icons.
This started my knowledge of 2D graphics. I soon began to make skins for the models, so that they would appear different from what they started too look like.
This gave me a huge knowledge about the colors and their value on the model. Also i would learn how to set colors together so that the colors would harmonize.
I then soon learned how to work with 3D models which was what I had dreamed of ever since I had seen the WoW models for Warcraft 3.
I was able to put gear on creatures and characters which originally wasn't made for them, and I soon knew how to make my very own custom gear for a model.
Ever since I have learned this have I been messing around with the models. Which soon lead to a collection of custom made models.
Therefor I have come to DevianART to show you guys my work, and hear what you guys think about it.
All my models can be downloaded from the site:…

Hope this will inspire people and make them tell their honest opinion about my work, which I put a lot of time into.

I got a special one you can work on. Valeera Sanguinar. Currently, the last time we ever see her is in the queue for the Battle of Undercity in the Wrath of the Lich King, following the events of the Wrath Gate. But she looks nothing like what she does in the comics or in the Hearthstone card game. Could we get a model of her, please?

I have considered her, but I have a far too important and big project coming up, which comes in first line. But if I find time I might start making a model again. :)

Hi there I wanted to say awesome WOD models and thanks for the link to the WCUnderground site. I was able to get all the models I wanted to use for my modding project. I just have a question.I am not the most proficient rigger but I want to know whats the easiest way to Tpose the mdx files. I used MDLvis tool and was able to pose them using the animate option but wasn't able to export the T-pose. Is there a simple way to pose the models and export them. I really want to make a ORC pack on top of my Garrosh Hellscream…

Well all .m2 files are in T-pose once they are exported and converted into .mdx format. But I'm not quiet sure what you're asking.
'Cause all .mdx models are in T-pose format when you open them. But If you want the arms to be raised even further up (so they actually look like a T) I can modify it for you.
Explain in detail if I misunderstood your question. :)

Sorry about the confusion. I downloaded a Grommash model 6.0 (a model with different animations)by Henry from the wcunderground site and it came in mdx format with blp texture files so I got MDLvis tool to view the mdx file but when I open it the default pose position has the hands at his sides . I tried creating my own Tposed animation with the hope that I could save that as the default position, but it didn't allow to save or even extract that pose . I even got an mdx script for 3ds max to open the mdx files but again the hands are at the sides and since I have 0 experience using 3ds max I couldn't pose it there either . I guess what I want is either the correct files or tool that allows me to extract or pose the model in the easiest way possible I don't currently own WOD so I don't have the assets to explore myself so I have to rely on what I find in the net. So that's my situation. If you have the models of the Orcs Grommash, Warchief Blackhand, Kargath_Bladefist, killrog and Durotan handy in aT pose it would be a blessing and greatly appreciated. Sorry for the length of this post.

Ahh I understand now. Well yeah the standard pose for .mdx models is with their hand by their side. This can only be changed by modifying the model in MDLVIS. I can do this for you, since it's not easy with no experience. Just give me a quick sketch on how you want it to be, and I'll do it fast. Also I assume it should be without the animations?
I can get every WoW model you want tbh. I just need to know who and how you want the T-pose to be. Like should he stand with his arms totally horizontal? :)
Maybe show me the pic of the model you edited with the bones.
